Daily Blogggging is what it takes to get the message out!
What is the message?
It can be anything you wnat and it's the best. We are looking at the new wave of the Internet say many folks and I believe so myself. Why?
When you see something as powerful and that easy to use, you better keep your eye on it. No doubt that blogs are the way to go. It's fun, it's easy and it get's to all kinds of folks, friends and places. From what I have seen of the blog world, I think it's going to replace many things or places people go on the net.
The net itself changes as do the worlds inside computing and even media. The fast paced way that things grow and change are evident by the age of the mouse, the PC and the end user. Everyone is online if they can be and they love it too!
We are happy we are here. I am for sure.
Have a good day, Greg

We did it! We applied for the Blog's AdSence w/G
Alexander's, A 50 year old company is going nuts. We took down 50 web sites to make a new set of focused sites.
The old plan was mall that had auctions. Now the new 2005 plan is hot. It's An Auction that has Malls.
In doing all that we have added several blogs at blogspot to get more RSS and Blog services in additon to the 10,000 pages on the three HTML sites.
All this hubs around the account the are now PPC and PPP (stuff). The truth is that eBay Auction is our main business and everything hubs around it. We love it. Our whole new business, all the new traffic and all the 1000s of hits per hour are attributed to the load staff and feed teams at Alexander's Auction Mall. It's great.
The web team and the S&H team all ganged up on the buyers and the ower, Greg Alexander, and they took over the place. Presenting the new plan was great. Greg said give it a try then get AdSence. He let us take the risk and if they by chance turn us down, we'll go with CJ all the way. We dropped most of the LS accounts and dropped them because of the lack of downloads, feeds and tools. CJ has good ones and we consolidated the beFast accounts with all CJ accounts in to one account. We also add all the staff as users so eveyone is in there all day long.
We also hit the 1 million links target to the srore and all are direct no pay links so our customers are not pissed. We do still have 450,000 that are hooked to PIDs so all the staff has wages. We are hot and it AdSence has not the sence to say YES, we will be fine. Blog On!
PPP and PPC are OK by us but we would like to AdSence ourselves into all our new sites with our new feed tool. We are ready to feed 100,000 links in to the 10 sites and kick some cash in the bank. Mr. Alexander especially likes them and thinks they will like us since we can make 40 or 50 bloggs and even host one on each of the main sites that function with phpNuke or a php compatiable dB.
We got yah!

ps. 3rd shift rules here! You know it!
Auctions are loaded all day Sunday too!

Hi all! Welcome to Feb 2005
Going Nuts here (trying to debugg as I actively use the new module! Having a good time. Hope that things are going well for eveyone I have met since opening the Blog. I love it. I do wish I could learn it all faster and make it all just happen.
Recent Sales at the mall!
This month I am going to see if I an add it to more locations on my mall and in all the groups. I do see that this "blog thing" is catchy and fun too! I also think that the blog could be very much better than the Yahoo Groups (we have over 50 now), which have been fun, but are not only getting spammed by individuals, and now by the Yahoo Company's own default bulk mailer system. The new user of some bulk accounts that Yahoo sells services on has been giving allowances (not sure if it's actually what they promote or not) to the senders of bulk ads and they and the emails they send result in SPAM which makes all our members mad and they leave us. This make Yahoo Groups a real bad deal at present. I did commit to seeing if Yahoo actually allows this situation (I'll get right on it). I also did commit to make sure we are going into the business end of blogging.
In the coming months (I have been given the task), we at Alexander's Auction Mall, are going to investigate doing blog from our own servers. I see a way to do it here and wonder if the present servers we use are able to take it. If they are, I may do that and test it, then get on with it. If it does, it (the blog), could become part of our members zones and sites like http://list.alexandersauction.com/ and http://clerk.alexandersauction.com/ < clerk is phpNuke and new, but cool. We want to do this from the http://www.c4bnet.com/ site which is open to handle it all.
Since the closing of the old site, click 4 bucks, a network site, we have been hurting for cash. When it closed, we lost all other income sources and related sites, which has resulted in strappin us to the tightest we have been since starting in 1996. We are looking forward to the new system being part of our offering.
In 2003 we suffered the crash. In 2004, we recoverd and built the new sites, with a new tool (the same one that caused the crash) and some real enhancements. We also invented some files and system tools that we may (want to baddly) market and sell for cash. We think we can really do well with the sales but getting it all off the ground is not as easy as it looks.
eBay auctions (ours) are doing better than we thought and now we are focused on doing more to keep alive until we get back to where we had made it prior to the crash in fall 2003.
Picture of the Day! at Alexander's Auction Mall POD
The closing of 40 web sites, included: Yahoo Stores, web sites, email sites, responders, and many things all linked together. 1000s of hours in time and 1000s of pages are effected and still on many servers. We cannot go back so we are going forward. We also have lost all the staff we had and it's back to the very basics. We (me and those left) are hanging on by threads but that is good.
In all my years online I have never had such a big challenge or such opportunity. In the past year, I have seen many things happen, I have done many new things, and I have attempted to quit. I just cannot stop. I love what I do and how I do it. I also like what's going on now in the overall industry of online publishing.
The 911 factor has killed many like us and many like me as far as being here online and making a living. I see that the stats state that 1 million people per year or more are begining online businesses which is down from almost 3000 in past years. It's all blamed on the 911 factor, which I agree with and have seen it's effects as well. During the past years I have seen those effects kick my virtual online business to bits.
The other factors that surely effect us all are the WAR, Politics, The Economy and more. I would love to see which and what all that looks like in a summary. Heck, I would like a million dollar grant to study that (for the income and the knowledge), set of facts, impacts, the factors and the effected businesses.
Thanks all and have a great day!
